looks like the army will be sending me to Vermont for a short period when i get back to the states. does anyone know of any good freestone wild trout streams near Burlington to fish? i know that Vermont has a vast quantity of wild freestoners...ive done some research and found quite a few streams including some i would like to try out. i am just looking to see if anyone had a recommendation for any water from personal experience. thanks guys!

Ooooh man I just went this summer and fell in love. Lots of good trout streams like the Lamoille River plus lots of good smallie streams and lots of great brookie streams. The FLY ROD SHOP in Stowe Vermont is nice. You will also be right next to Lake Champlain. Burlington is really cool... some interesting folks there. Magic Hat Brewery and Long Trail Brewery... I am going back this summer and can't wait.
