Timber Rattlesnake v. Northern Copperhead

not sure if it was mentioned, there is a population of Massasaugas at Jennings nature reserve near slippery rock, I've seen a few while walking around there, they are rather small and vanish rather quickly into the brush when they see people, at least the one's I've seen.

Yep, that's the Butler County population. Maybe the only one?

I've misidentified plenty of snakes. A picture is always nice so you can do a proper ID afterwards.

Saw 3 timber rattlers in the mountain in a hollow sunday morning 2 were black ones were big and did not like at all that I was around.
