Very nice. The larvae are long and very slender just as they should be.

No dry flies? Griffiths gnat or jassid 20 on down....nice lookin flies though.......really

Tie some without thread. Just a wire rib, a bead, and a hook. Works great.

Alright ill add some to the box, thanks.

By the way, can anyone give me an idea on how good the two nymphs are in the first shot? Like do they look right/good/store material/etc. Basically, do they have that "professional standard" tie kind of look.

Looks buggy to me. Nice ties. I'd fish em.

They look fine to me, but my theory is; if the trout like them, who cares? Many of the flies I tie aren't available in fly shops, anyhow. If they can hold up to several fish, and the trout like them, they are good ties. Unless you are going to sell them, you shouldn't worry about making exact mainstream copies IMO. Happy testing!

Those two san - juan style worms will definately work, i've had small and i mean small brookies who only had the chenille stuck in their teeth they weren't hooked at all, i think that happens with marabou also at times and with bigger fish that eventually get hooked.

Here's my midge box:

Are those marabou blood patterns in there?
