I'll be up in the poconos for a wedding. Was looking to fish brodhead or pocono creek. Anyone fish these recently that could provide a recommendation?

When's the wedding? Actually it doesn't really matter. Bhead and Pocono are in great shape right now. Fished Bhead in town last evening. Slate Drakes. Lots of rises around the 645 pm timeframe. Then dark streamers at night.

Access is easy on both. Pick one and you'll find fish.

I've never been up there. Access to pocono creek is easy? Just find an area to park and go for it?

Pocono is easy in Stroudsburg area, but you can gain access to the Brodhead at many county/city parks along Rt 191.

For what it's worth, Brodhead treated me well yesterday. Solid hatch throughout the afternoon. Go get em!

The water levels this summer gave been good. Probably not much for a fish die off as some of the stockies in the creeks will die off in low, hot water. So there should be a good amount of fish swimming around. Id also give the brodhead a shot. Tons of access.
