Valley Forge TU does a lot of work and spends a lot of money to protect Chester County waterways, particularly Valley Creek, an exceptional value stream with a population of all wild trout. You can show your support for VFTU and help the effort to keep Valley Creek exceptional by attending VFTU upcoming events:
* Annual VFTU Trout Show on Saturday afternoon, March 17th at the Great Valley High School in Malvern from 1:00PM to 4:00PM. Guest speaker is Ben Turpin presenting a program of eastern PA streams. There will be plenty of raffles and great prizes including rods, reels, trail bike, kayak, etc. There will also be display from 20 other organizations, fly sales, and live auction. See the attached poster for more details.
* Valley Creek Clean-up Day, Saturday, April 14th from 9:00AM to 12:00PM. Meet at East Whiteland Valley Creek Park in Malvern on Rt. 29. This will be a fun morning of cleaning up litter and scouting new fishing spots.
