I’ll take that last spot, if there is still one available. Pattern yet to be determined.

Here’s what I have in mind for my swap Deceiver pattern.

Dropped mine in the mail today with an extra streamer for our organizer. Thanks Jim!

My streamer will be the “sculp snack” as featured by George Daniels

What about a spring opener swap? Go to flies for opening day, for those that celebrate.
@PatchezMDM ….I like the concept of this….tell me what you are thinking about for this.

Great ideas everyone.
I’m seeing the need for at least 2 foam terrestrial swaps to time in just before terrestrial season!

I’ve got a Mayfly idea too..might require tying more than one fly for a swap….interest??

I was really thinking about what my go to's are for opening day. Squirmys and caddis nymphs, sucker spawn and prince nymph. I run hi/ low under a bobber(indicator) so maybe a double opener swap. I've also run and egg pattern with a blow torch under it.

I like the idea of a specific pattern (like "march brown dry" or "little blue winged olive nymph". I like to see everyone's individual take on a more specific pattern and see the differences in techniques and materials which I think helps me to continue to develop my own tying style. I'm not a guy who strictly follows recipes exactly as I find them in a book or online. Doing that can be fun, but I also enjoy learning to use what I have available.
