Recent Rain

The pop-up storms in recent days have helped a bit here in SCPA but they all seem to miss Gettysburg and my lawn has been brown since last month. We could definitely use some more precip.

This big coastal front the weather nerds have been talking about may help SEPA but it looks like it may only graze my neck of the woods, if at all.
I live in the same area and we need it bad. It’d be nice to get some rain that’s spread out over a couple days/weeks and not just all at once likes it’s been lately, so the flows could at least stay up for a little while longer. But I guess beggars can’t be choosers.

Chester/Montgomery Counties received about 1.25 inches of nice steady rain in the last 2 days.

Nice steady rain yesterday in south central PA with more on the horizon looking at Sunday through Tuesday. Hopefully it holds.

We got over 1 1/2 inches out my way near Fort Indiantown Gap. Streams are bank full for the 1st time in months.

Regards,

Tim Murphy 🙂

Looks like Tioga County can expect some snow in the next 5-10 days.

What do you think this rain means for late spawning and hatching of eggs already deposited?
