They talk about making the lake deeper and removing sediment from the northern end of the lake. That's all well and good, but won't that sediment just fill back in if they don't fix the sediment in Hammer Creek above the dam? Also, I wonder if it would be an option to make the dam a cold release dam (assuming they make the lake deep enough), thus keeping the Hammer below the lake cooler for longer. I don't know enough about dams and lakes and all that.
