I didn't receive the opening day survey either.

Nice to hear there's at least a few of us that say no opening day. I don't expect there to be much support for it - too much $ wrapped up in opening day with both PFBC and businesses that cater to anglers.

Economics aside, moving the statewide opening day forward to the first Saturday in April and moving the regional opening day to that day as well would still be a good deal for those waters and anglers in the SE/SC region. Worst case scenario is that it would push the opening day back by 3 or 4 days during some years in the region.
