Just a little fun quiz.

Tried to spread them out across the state. (Realize there are a lot of similar names for many waters)

Can you name all the waters associated with these landmarks, pools or holes??

Good luck.

Refrigerator hole
Junction pool
Stop sign hole
Broadwaters
Molly Gordon Hole
The Ditch
Drake Well pools
Humphreys Hole
Leidy Bridge
Rattlesnake Rock

My attempt to answer

Refrigerator hole - X
Junction pool - The Beaver Kill
Stop sign hole – Walnut
Broadwaters - X
Molly Gordon Hole - Yellow Creek
The Ditch - Big Spring
Drake Well pools – Oil Creek
Humphreys Hole - Fishing Creek
Leidy Bridge – X
Rattlesnake Rock – X

I believe you introduced me to several of these.

Here’s a twist, add the ones you know or correct the list, and add one of your own.

Refrigerator hole
Junction pool - WB Delaware/ Delaware
Stop sign hole - Walnut Crik, Erie
Broadwaters - Penns Creek above Cherry Run
Molly Gordon Hole - Yellow Creek Bedford
The Ditch - Big Spring Creek
Drake Well pools
Humphreys Hole - Fishing Creek Tylersville
Leidy Bridge
Rattlesnake Rock
Love Pool

Loves pool- Penns

That was a pool I caught my last fish of the year on an olive dry 2 years ago November.

I add the pool where acristickid fell in during the Grannom hatch :)

I'm just going to guess the refrigerator hole is on the lower Lackawanna.

Is Leidys bridge on Big Spring?

rattle snake rock-- pine creek

There is also a refrigerator hole on salmon river in NY above pulaski.

I added two, and we’re only considering PA? Yes?

Gonna let it ride for a bit.

Bruno- sewage plant ??? Don’t exacly recall.

Junction pool - Delaware. Although I know of several other junctions of east and west branches of streams thats usually referred as that.

Stop sign hole - Walnut creek
Broadwaters - Penns Creek
Molly gordon - Yellow Creek
The Ditch - Big spring
Drake Well pools - Oil creek.
Humphreys hole - Fishing creek, right below the tylersville hatchery where he supposedly caught a giant brown that I believe was the state record for awhile.

Leidy bridge - Kettle creek
Rattlesnake rock - Pine creek
Love pool -?
Manor falls - Slate run
Elephant rock - ?

I'll throw another well known one in from central PA:
The quarry

Sewage Plant Elk. GG

Most were covered already. I knew a little less than half.

Refrigerator hole: Probably more than one out there. The one I know is on E Branch of Tionesta. I know it isn't the correct one, but I did caught a few trout out of that hole because it was well stocked.;-)

Stop giving answers from out of PA, this is a PA quiz as stated in the OP.

Well, as a stick-in-the-mud, stay-near-home fisherman, I failed this quiz badly.

But, I'll bet no one else knows where the 5-Minute Hole is! :) Well, that's a little unfair, since I named it myself.

Leidy Bridge = Kettle Creek
