Anyone here fish for bass in Oil Creek State Park? What flies would you recommend? What are some good access points? Hoping to get out there sometime in the next couple weeks and would appreciate any help. Thanks!

Oil Creek state park isn't a very productive area for Smallies, at least for me....There are some scattered Bass but not alot...Streamers were always my go to...

If your looking for Bass mabee try the Clarion River or French Creek.
Depending on where you're coming from....

Elg..

Check your PM's. I think I sent you one. If you didn't get it, let me know here and I'll re-do it.

I've never gone to target smallies in Oil Creek, but I have caught a few while fishing streamers for trout. The smallies I caught were along the far bank, hiding in a boulder field. The current was moderate there.

If I'm not to late for you. If your looking to fish Oil for Smallies I would go to the lower end of the park, below the ice dam.
