I'm fairly new to fly fishing, but not fishing in general. I started fly fishing last year and was only able to catch a few bluegills and all. There's a local stream (Perkiomen Creek) that has a Delayed Harvest Fly Fishing Only section of the stream and is fairly nice. I've seen a few trout in there of decent size but never able to hook up with one because of my lack of experience. Does anyone know of some "easy" fly fishing trout streams in Eastern Pennsylvania that would help me become a better angler? I feel as if the difficult waters make it hard for me to fish.

it gets easier as spring rolls in.

gfen has it, IMO. On or after April 2nd (the start of trout season in SE PA) try fly-fishing any stocked trout water outside the special res area. The Perk is a good one. The fish should come rather easily. Try wooly buggers and/or drifting beadhead nymphs with an indicator. Good luck.
