I have a slightly older Orvis net that essentially hangs in the garage. Recently, I have been thinking of getting a smaller net ( my normal net is a Fishpond Nomad) to take with me when I fish for brook trout. While the Orvis net seems the right size, the bag material is that old fish killing nylon.

My question: how hard is it to replace the old nylon bag with a rubberized or ghost bag?

I assume Jann’s Netcraft would be a good place to look.

Any tips?

Thanks and stay safe.

Last year I installed 2 ghost bags from Jann's. Not very difficult to install, and it worked out very well.

Awesome to hear. Thanks.

Call them and they will recommend the correct size based on your net dimensions. I suggest you use the largest diameter string that will pass through the existing holes in your net frame.
