Am spending time hiking creeks this summer to identify which creeks I want to target or trout once the weather cools this Fall. Am looking to find the DHALO section of Nescopeck Creek. I know the DHALO section is within State Gamelands 157 but am not quite able to locate this specific section on a map. Any help would be much appreciated.

About a mile from the Nescopeck State Park main office is a trail with parking for 3 or 4 vehicles. Walk back on this trail about 1/2 mile to the lower end of the DHALO stretch. Check out the state park map or you can stop by the office for some specifics. It's a very brushy creek, watch out for soft bottoms, they will literally suck your boots down.

There is a gate less than 1/2 mile from the entrance to Lake Frances. It is marked by a blue Lehigh Railroad sign or something like that.

Walk down the path and go straight back to the creek. About a 10-15 minute walk.
Usually have done better going down from there

If it's before the first frost, bring insect repellent. Mosquitoes could be unbearable.
