Muncy Creek, Fished well but slow!

7/13/19. Muncy Creek above Picture Rocks fished good last night. Lots of fish, only 1/3 were risers. Released all! Again the ticket seems to be parachute yellow Sulphur in size 18 and 20. I was using a 15 ft. 6x, both friends using a 12 ft 6x leader. Did not start to after 8:30 and about the time you had trouble seeing, fish moved to bottom of hole feeding and I suspect went smaller. 22, 24.

Was up your way last wed. the 10th fishing Muncy. Tried a few places but only found trout at one spot. Must have been a lot of fish in that hole as I caught 5 and missed several on nymphs. Tried some other spots but by then it was during the warmest part of the day.
Later afternoon, evening I went over to the W. branch of Fishing creek and caught a few brookies. All in all a fun day fishing new water for the first time.
