Midge patterns for Spring creek?

paco... one of my favorite patterns on Spring is a size 22 thread midge. Just a thread body and a tiny amount of hares or muskrat for a thorax. Any color can be productive but olive, cream, red and black work well for me.

They can get beat up without ribbing, but at 30 seconds a tie, it doesn't matter much. 6x is as small as I go if fishing them subsurface.
