Sky Blue Outfitters will be doing a presentation at the Monday April 29th meeting of the Dane Juliana League meeting. It will be on the Manatawny Creek and it's headwater. We will also show videos on other streams in Pennsylvania. All are welcome to attend.

Details and directions can be found at http://www.djlflyfishers.org/

I love fishing the Manatawny! Only ever caught stocked trout on it, though. Does it support holdovers/natural reproduction in some stretches?

Yes. As a general rule, the further upstream you fish it, the more wild trout (browns) you will find.

I agree, but you can find them throughout he creek. They will move out of the warmer sunny areas in the summer. Just go fish the sulphur hatch, you should catch some. Fall is the best time to fish for wild trout. I have a video on my website form this past year.

They have found wild trout all the way down into Pottstown.
