Loyalhanna Creek

Anyone out there familiar with the loyalhanna creek in Latrobe pa? I know the delayed harvest is a good spot but does anyone know of any other good places to try?

There are lots of good spots and plenty of parking areas on either side of Route 30 from Kingston to Longbridge. That’s the stretch I used to fish a lot back in the day.

I’ll second the Kingston to Longbridge section as good pocket water.
There are also nice sections above the project water all the way up to the Rolling Rock Club line.

Imo, the delayed harvest section isn’t as good as further down through the gorge, and above. Was there Saturday morning and the fishing was very good with grannoms everywhere. Have even caught some wild browns on the upper end.
