One thing alot of you missed is get something with side sheilds, makes a big difference...I use 50.00 clip ons with my glasses plus add side sheilds.

You could always give in to what I have deemed the stupidest female fashion fad ever.

I present you, the fly eye bunch.

Now you can be half retarded and look it too!

What do you want hot and smart. not going to happen.

I don't require hot and smart. You clearly haven't met my ex.

I would like hot and not completely idiotic. The search continues.

Keep lookin but you will find Bigfoot first.

What's harder to find is a really good lasana recipe.

its not the lasagna that is your problem its the sauce. you got to make good sauce.

I wouldn't know i never cooked the past 13 years of my life professionally. or have a piece of paper from a cool-ege that says i know what i am doing. never made sauce in my life.

I own a pair of "Costa del Mar" polarized glasses. They have a glass lens lamenated by two pieces of scratch and imapact resistant plastic. They have what's known as a 580 lens in them. it blocks out light in the 580 wavelength.(yellow light). I wear contacts and when i wear these it makes my vision super crisp like watching HD tv compared to regular cable. They are a bit pricey though around 200 bucks. One thing i can reccomend is getting yourself one of those librarian lanyards for your glasses. i got one for 2 bucks that floats at a drug store, and since i got it i havent lost a pair of glasses. They either hang around my neck when they arent on or around my rear view mirror.

I've always been able to find good polarizing sunglasses for around $15. I like the yellow, because they don't darken the scene, they brighten the scene.

Deep in the woods they help see into the water and pick out fish.

They also protect your eyes from UV rays, but did you know that by just wearing a baseball cap you reduce uv rays by 30%.

The way polarizers work is they cut the glare by reducing horizontaly polarized light reflected off road surfaces and water by using a vertical filter to block the reflection of light.

Another vote for the Action Optics. I am fortunate that my prescription has not changed much the past few years, and I have been able to get 3 yrs+ out of them. I have the amber. When I fish in the evenings, if it gets too dark to see with them on, and I do not have a flashlight, I know I still have enough light left to get back to the car. You won't regret it if you get them. They don't scratch easily, and if you keep them in the case when not in use, you will have them for years.

My warmest appreciation to whom ever started this post.

I am quite confident that you had not started this post I would probably have not put my action optics on the passenger seat of my 4 runner. And without this thread they would quite probably have not slid off the seat next to the passenger door. And I probably would have not gone out in the evening, opened the door, and closed it, smashing my action optics to smithereens.

And without this post I would have not discovered that I could get a discount on a new pair at Action Optics at Eyesave.com.

I really loved those action optics!!!!!

Assume the service is good unless I make a posting otherwise.

Your well come.

Looks like some pretty good deals on Action Optics here... Link to E-Bay store

I ordered a pair with photochromatic lenses that get darker when the sun is brighter. Can't beat $40 with shipping!

This will be my first pair over $20, so we'll see how it goes. Hopefully they won't get busted in the car door... :-?

Albatross-

Thanks for the link. I will have to check it out. My first pair were originally $149-$159. I bought them on clearance for $99 in the LL Bean store in Maine. Besides the slam in the car door, they were really incredible. You will be quite happy with them.

My sunglass order-

I promised to let you know if I had any difficulties with my order. Eyesave does not keep inventory. A week after placing my order they said it would be at least another week to ten days. I cancelled my order, and if I could I would delete the above reference to them, however I am unable to do so. Oh well, so much for my good deal.

If you are looking to get a pair of nice polarized fishing glasses. I recomend you put out the extra money and get a pair of Cost Del Mar. The lenses come in 7 different colors. Each color has a different pupose. So you choose the color for what you do.
