I am new to this area. I have been told that its nice floating from just above Bowmanstown down to the large parking lot just below Bowmanstown. Can anyone give me the go to flies and techniques that work for this area. Much appreciated!

That stretch hasn't been too good for me...shallow riffs til you get to musky pool/bowmanstown launch.
The best we did through there was picking up smaller bows on brighter smallish streamers.

This time of year you'll be seeing Isos and olives. If the rises looks angry then it's prolly Isos. If they're sippy it's prolly olives...beware of the "Stevie Wonder" (copywrite Krayfish) effect ie fish bobbing their head back and forth as they cruise up and down bubble lines sipping the small olives, it can be tricky getting the fly in front of them and the water can be blanketed with small naturals.

Other than that dark buggers, stones and worms are par for the course

Nothing like making light of a blind man to apparently make you feel good, or witty, or whatever.
