Hey guys:
Headed to Scranton this weekend for my daughters hockey tourney. Was hoping to fish the Lackawanna and get her tied into a few trout if possible. Does anyone have tips on access spots to try?

It's July. Scrap it and fish for bass on the Susky.

Definitely too warm. Sorry. Now, smallies are on the agenda for me this weekend near Scranton.

A&G Outfitters near Scranton is your best resource. Here is their most recent Lackawanna River report: https://www.agoutfitters.com/lackawanna

As you can see from this report, the Lack is already at the limit for temps. You could roll the dice and favor Archbald to Jermyn ( a short section below the outfall where cold mine drainage enters), but that's it.

I suggest you call the shop and ask for best access points to wade (?) the Susky. Barring strong cells pouring rain on the watershed, levels should be good and it's only 20 or so minutes from town.
