Penn Hills Resort on fire again, and it's probably arson.

I didn't know it sold again in June. Did the spring issues with the landowners end at that point?

Read about the history of this resort when this came up in the spring. Disappointing to see once beloved recreation destinations become ruins. Only thing left to do now is raze the structures that remain and start from the ground up.

What a mess... Monroe Twshp and Brodhead TU have their hands full there. A lot of the property issues recently were with a homeowner on the other side of the creek and below the preserve. I'll assume that is ongoing? Swimming season is ending, so perhaps he'll relax a bit this fall...

Stroud township should just buy the property. Its been such a problem for them. People living there, arson, trespassing, graffiti....you name it.
