Has anyone had luck fishing Bushkill creek where it passes into Jacobsburg state park up near wind gap?

I may venture that way this weekend to dip my worm for a few hours.

Thanks!

Don't bother in the park.

I've been told it's much to warm, and I've never bothered to care because the park is filled with over 9000 people per square foot throwing rocks, jumping, or running their dogs in the creek.

You'd have better luck catching fish in your bath tub.

Last fished it about 5 yrs ago, lots of skinny water this time of year. My opinion you would be better fishing somewhere else. Try Penn park or ff section.

Not much, the last time there an irresponsible dog owner let his dogs charge right at me while I was fishing. I thought I was going to have to hit the dog on the head with a big rock. Instead, I grabbed the AH dog owner and held the rock over him until he got his dogs and put them on a leash.
I then marched to the park office to report the ah.

Thanks for the tip. Maybe ill just stick to the big D. Iv found some smallies south of 78 that are fun. I was just lookin for something different.

Try Martin's Creek if you want trout.
