lol...me too. Takes a few seconds to tie a surgeons with a long tag for a dropper. In addition, everyone should clip off your tippet, add fresh line and retie knots every so often (even with a tippet ring) as the knots weaken and the tippet gets abraded with use.

I started to use tippet rings on my nymph rigs. It made it easier to drop flies off the rings than off the hook eye or bend of the hook.
I haven't tried them for dry fly fishing yet.
