Heres a soft hackle I tied (just starting soft hackles) this is tied with turkey biot died Mahogany, pink dubbing and Phesant.
 
Where is it?
 
knew it was time to get my trifocals cleaned.

Nice looking fly. Can you flesh it out a bit more? Looks from the photo like it may have a fine wire rib; is that so? What sort of Pheasant feather are you using? Wing covert? Body feather? Synthetic or natural dubbing? Thanks.
 
the body is mahogany turkey biot
fine gold wire
thorax is pink dubbing
hackle is hen Phesant neck feather
thread is uni thread 8/0 rust brown
 
Nice proportions. You tie well.
Seems like I have better luck with a grouse and black softhackle for the henny's.
Not sure why.
