Golden Darter Streamer
I was asked on the PA Fly Fish Forum by Rob Badger if I knew where to get Golden Badger feathers to tie a small streamer in a size 10.
I decide to break out one of my Golden Badger necks and give this fly a try. I did tie it in a size 10 just and this is the first try at it.
Materials
Hook: Daiichi 2340 Size 10 through 4
Tail: Small section of mottled turkey wing quill
Rib: Flat Gold Tinsel
Body: Yellow Floss
Throat: Tip of a Jungle Cock body feather, about the length of the hook gape, pointing slightly downward
Wing: Golden Badger Hackles
Cheek: Jungle Cock
