Glass Rods

I love glass rods and even have gotten into building them myself. I have found that I'm not limited by them in any way. But they suit me and they may not suit everyone.

Echos are good intro glass rods, though I preferred the original generation to the river glass rods they have now. If you haven't already, be sure to check out thefiberglassmanifesto.com. Give due consideration to some of the small shop builders as well. Some of them are complete works of art.

I’m entering a medical research program and will be getting a liver biopsy done the end of September after I get back from my vacation out West. They are gonna pay me $500 to get it done. I’m seeing an Orvis Superfine Glass rod in my future, either the 5 wt or the 2 wt.
