This is one of those topics that can be debated for a very long time, with advocates for each type of leader/tippet material.
When I got my first guided lesson the guide introduced to Flouro. I had never fished with it before and it proved to make the difference for me that day. He then proceeded to bestow this wisdom upon me: Flouro is more expensive than mono, but rather than pay for both, I stick with Flouro.
I think there are pros and cons to each, but when it comes down to it, I think confidence weighs heavy on this debate. Whichever you fish with, be confident using it.
