Fall Catskill JAM.....the final chapter 10/4-10/6

Okay you requested to see my big chub so here it is. The pic does not do it justice. The back gear bag is 6 inches across. This chub was well fed and had a big belly. Kray and Alby enjoyed seeing my chub.

Let's have the chub jokes now please.

Your chub was bigger than mine

Chubby chub (fallfish) Beebs. A real trophy.

While the fishing may not have been the best, it sounds like everyone had a good time! That's really what counts.

Thanks again Andy for organizing this. I had a blast and really enjoyed meeting everyone and getting to fish with some new folks. The fishing was tough but I managed to catch the two biggest trout I have ever caught purely by luck. Thanks Stimey and Beeber for taking me on some floats. The girlfriend wanted to shoot me when I came home and said I now need a pontoon boat! I will admit that PhilC and I did go down to Andy and Josh on the links and ended up lighter in the pocket. A rematch will definitely have to be in order.

Jeff you need to throw up a picture of that pig you caught on the Main... it was a nice fish!

How much did that last slice of ham weigh? Sorry forgot I was making the best ever 20 minute sub

I didn't get many pictures and Josh has some he'll be forwarding.

Here's a few to start..............

You know, maybe the fishing was slow, but Wow the fall colors!

Andy and all Fall Catskill trippers,
Had a great time!! Nice to meet and fish with a great group of guys. Hope to do it again soon. Great learning experience for me. "The more you know (about FF) the more you realize what you don't know".
It was awesome to watch some really great fishers in action.
THANKS, Bert

Here are some pics from the trip including the brown Stimey mentioned.

That brown and bow are pigs. Were they nymphed out or caught on top?

Here are my photos. I had a great time. The scenery and company were first rate and the fishing was not bad either...

Looks like an awesome time. Thanks for putting up photos guys.

The rainbow was on top and the the Brown was nymphed out

I'd like to give a big thank you to DaveS for lending us his boat for the weekend. Dave is a great guy and has hosted me several times in his boat this year. His generosity really made this trip for me a success.

Also a big thanks to Andy. He did a great job getting this group together and his knowledge and generosity are very much appreciated. He really made sure we knew the what, where and when of the river. Truly a class act !

I would also like to thank Shadow Fly Rods for lending me the demo rod for the trip. I ended up walking away from the trip as a fan of the rods. They performed very well on the Delaware and have definitely found a home in my rod rack.

The only part that sucks about fishing trips is coming back to work

EARTHY !

Don't underestimate Spicoli. He's still up there and keeps sending me photos like this.......
