Thats pretty close to where I ended up too...and they catch fish pretty well.

It doesn't get much simpler- Tie on, bind it back, spiral it forward, flair it back at a 'neck'.

In my magazine clippings I came across another write-up of the Cartop, written by someone else but credited to Darwin Atkin. It agrees with what I posted, as did the accompanying picture.
