that article has pretty much gone viral.
sadly it also goes on in steelhead fishing too - out of state guides with no license, no boat sticker and out of state sports that don't know any different.
its all about the money and swag.

You hit it for me on the "grumpy old men" part of your post.
But, since I don't do social media (unless participating on this site counts), I don't know what goes on there. I imagine you're talking about facebook, etc. Since I don't own or want an intrusive cell phone, social media on the phone does not affect me, at least I think not, which is probably a good thing.
