This West Virginia Lightning Trout was my favorite of the year. This was the one and only I have ever caught and on a dry fly . All in all it was a great year for fishing.

Nice...I had my first lightning trout take on a dry fly this year also but I missed the hook set. I seldom see them rise.

Hunny Boo Boo can now be re-branded as a “lightning human”. But seriously Bruno congrats it is hard to get those things to act like a trout instead of a submerged frenches mustard bottle and rise to take a dry fly. I have never seen it done, and thats pretty interesting that you got it to eat on top. Glad you made some good memories this year!

Knowing how you do it.... you took that fish on a dry within 5 minutes of Bruno releasing it. 🤣🤣

My Fish of Year (18” SM Bass from Oil Creek) since I don’t target SMB this one was a pleasant surprise and provided a memorable fight.
