Allenberry

You can see if the warm weather they’re forecasting this week extends terrestrial season but I’d be ready to abandon that and throw some streamers if it doesn’t get any action. I was there last night and the creek is really low. I caught a couple in the slow moving water above the resort grounds on a black zoo cougar.

You could try dry dropper with either a caddis or terrestrial dry of your choice and a scud off the bend of the hook. I've had good luck with that combination recently in the slower water.

Standard scud and small mayfly nymphs have also been effective if you choose to just nymph.

Hobo's suggestion about a streamer is a good one as well.

I didn't have much luck on eggs on the Breeches last week so it may a bit early to use those patterns.

swing two ( or 3 if you're good at it ) classic soft hackles - partridge & orange, Tups indispensible, Wickham's Fancy - down and across those riffles - and hold on.

There's a very interesting amish / menonite quilt shop on rt 11, on the way to Big Spring ... Quarry Rd Quilts. there will be a hand written sign on rt 11. number of years ago I bought my wife a quilt from there
