Ladies and fellas, I said last year that this would be an annual post, so what are your fly fishing ambitions in 2025? My ambitions are rather simple, and they are this: to slow down and cast more dry flies on the water. I also want to explore a handful of new streams.
That's it. If I do both of those things, I'll be a happy camper.
How about all of yinz' folks?
Bring it on, Kray! I'll definitely pencil you in this year!Get you out in the boat and put a little beat down on ya. 😂😁
We ran out of water last summer. You also mentioned trying trout on big water.... offer still stands. 😉Bring it on, Kray! I'll definitely pencil you in this year!
Sounds like your obsession with catching all these different kinds of trout is turning into a chore?Catch 2 fish-
North American Arctic Char on north slope or Northern Canada.
Alvord Cutthroat phenotype from OR. It’s an extinct subspecies but some are still catching the hybridized lookalikes.
The flights for the North American Arctic char are the most expensive I’ve ever encountered.
Then I can die happy and go on these leisure trips you anglers speak of.
I could see how such a complex endeavor, like the one Acristickid is undertaking, could be seen by some as chore like. But, I think it's a passion of his that he takes very seriously, and apparently he has the means to pursue it. I admire his determination, dedication, and drive!Sounds like your obsession with catching all these different kinds of trout is turning into a chore?
