2018 North Central PA Summit 10/5-10/7/2018

Kettle Creek looks great, with good flows and clear. Didn't get to fish much, caught a really nice big wild brown on Kettle. Lower Pine Creek was blown out, chocolate milk. Also notable, I caught a nice big colorful brookie on the Francis Br. Slate Run. Upper Slate Run road is closed from a washout. All streams north of Galeton were blown out early in the week, should be fine now. Spent the week driving around on our honeymoon all points in between Watkins Glen, lower Pine and Coudersport. Upper Pine is running high but mostly clear from Galeton down to Ansonia.

Nice Post Jake. Congratulations on the hook up! And what a way to spend a honeymoon. Man, this post has everything. Fishing report, romance, travel conditions, stream conditions, hatches???.maybe in 9 months. ????

Already hatched one last year. Wifey likes to fish, she just got a lot of city in her and she don't care much for wading yet, scares her. And yes we spent most of our honey moon in Potter CO. She found the cabin up above Crossfork and I just went along with it knowing exactly where it was

Hope you all enjoy your weekend, should be good conditions all around.

14 guys up at one point. Biggest crowd yet for the Summit, and biggest fish caught! Will post more, but for now, Moosehead bought the camp a new piece of art for the cabin to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the bear attacK:

Jakes- Congratulations

i heard good things about this event.

yet,i don't see many pics!

Jared must not have made it to the party.

Yeah not many pics, Shakey. Jared did miss it, for the first time ever. He was sorely missed. There are some pics in this thread

Sorry I missed it this year. Just read the recap. Congrats to all that attended. Kudos to Andy and Jerry for keeping it going.

Germania Hotel joint should be on every respected angler “bucket list”

“I’ve been in the Germania Hotel. I was pretty sure Skybay was going to get us shot in that joint. I was praying to God he'd keep the camera out of that place. “

“keep the camera out”…?
ain’t gonna happen!

good memories comes here with the pics,
(some them are “screen shoots’ from the vid)

I think for 2019, we're going to have to take a bit of a sabbatical. I don't think I can get up north from West Virginia this Fall. I plan on resuming in 2020, but with having just moved down here, getting used to life 400 miles from family and friends, trying to figure out how to fit visits/trips/vacations etc. into our lives, I don't see it happening this year.

I'll plan on making it in 2020 then. :p
