2018 Fly Fishing for Snakeheads and Bowfin success thread

Caught my personal best Bowfin 6 lbs on a morrish mouse today I also caught a 5 lb snake and Bowfin o my snake charmer fly .

Which do you prefer to catch, Bowfin or Snakehead?

Like I said, I haven't caught either.

Honestly I can’t they are like peanut butter and jelly for me . I prefer to hit waters that have them both . When one species is turned off usually the other turns on and makes for an exciting day on the water .
