2016 Lancaster Fly Fishing Show: 5-6 March

It certainly seemed to me to be crowded Saturday mid-day. It was tough to see exhibits, but good news for the show hosts and hopefully the vendors too.

Any word on visitation stats or perspective on business success? What was your impression?

I talked to a lot of vendors through the weekend and they all said they had a good day on Saturday. Talked to the President of the fly fishing show and he said that he felt Lancaster has the highest fishing IQ of people attending, even more than in Denver. I thought the crowds were as good if not better on Saturday than last year and Sunday wasn't too bad. Last year that big snow storm blew through so attendance on Sunday was really poor. I'll be back next year and may think about doing Somerset.

I agree - very high fishing IQ for Lancaster.

I was there from 9:30 till 1 or so. Saw a few ppl I knew. Bought a couple of shirts, a fly line from Ryan, a few dozen cheap flies, got my tippet, shot, etc. to kick off the spring. Watched Humphrey's seminar thing. Better than sitting at home.

It was pretty crowded. Moreso than I remember at Lancaster.
