Your favorite streamside photo

Have a lot of favorites but partial to this one of my son in the middle of a banner day. Was out about 12 hours or so and really put the miles on. Not sure how he did so well on a bright blue sunny day but he did.

Lol, just commitment! I love fishing in the snow. I've had some great times in deep snow on the north branch and savage too. Once you get in the water it's easy!
easier walking on the savage when the snow smooths out all the rocks...

That vine is HUGE. It is awesome!
It was huge. I wish I would have taken a better picture, add something to give it some scale. But it’s still one of my favorite streamside photos. Its trunk was as big as a tree. That’s not a small hemlock behind it. The vine was way bigger around than say a five gallon bucket. I can’t imagine what it must have weighed. It was impressive and unique. I think it’s neat to think this vine might have had grapes that fed some Native Americans or possibly someone when we were still a British colony. Pre 1776.

This is a cabin that actually looks like a home to me, that's right on a beautiful wild trout stream out in Venango county. I say cabin, because I have yet to see anyone there during any of my visits to this stream, both on weekdays and weekends.
I've always said to myself, "I'd LOVE to live in that house".

I'm certain some of the PAFF members know where this beautiful home is.

Me too. Never seen anyone there.

The fish in that stream like to jump. 😉 Well, some of them anyway.
