Hey there, has anybody fished the yough river tail water or anywhere near there this weekend? Going tomorrow and wanted to see if it was in good condition due to the rain in the past couple days.

Thanks!

Haven't fished it lately but it being a tailwater the rain will not impact the conditions right below the dam.

CHeck out http://waterdata.usgs.gov/pa/nwis/uv?site_no=03081000.

Typically there will be higher then usual water releases on weekends to support the rafting outfitters in Ohiopyle. I prefer to fish it under 1000CFS and around 800CFS below Ramcat.

For good dry fly conditions, I like the tail race section to be between 400 and 600 CFS. It's 640 right now - you'll be OK.
