Hey, guys. There's a stream running parallel to route 83 between
the Rte 30 exit and, I think, the Queen Street Exit. You can see
it from 83S and it can be seen from Memorial Hospital, as well. I think
this stream then goes under Mt. Rose Avenue and into the woods. When I was a wee lad, I used to play in this stream. I remember seeing some 'bows' in it right below a small damn. I had a weird dream about it last night. Which begs the question: has anyone every fished this steam?????

Thats Mill Creek. Its a flashy drainage ditch between Red Lion and York City(springettsberry). It picks up run off from Yoe, Dallastown and Spring Garden Township. While it has a few coldwater springs feeding it it isn't trouty. Gets real warm in summer. It does have some larger minnow species in it though but hardly worth fishing.

It travels drains the steep hills along Springwood road and Camp Betty Washington before the closing blow through the city and along I-83.

Hey, thanks Maurice. I get enough "Minnow" species in the freakin' Donegal Creek!!! I certainly don't want to sharpin' my "skills" on Mill Creek - cluck, cluck. I see you're from D-town. That was my High School :)
