Yellow Breeches-extension off of Children's Lake

I went down to the breeches this morning because Clark's was a chocolate river this morning. Fishing was good when I got there. Caught one on a green weenie right away. A small hatch came off, wasnt sure if it was caddis or bwo so i switched to nymphs. Caught another right after switching. Missed several others until the water level started rising when the heavy rain came. Stream got really high and the bite shut off. Then people kept coming down off the lake and casting over my line and taking over the holes. So I left. Even though water was high fishin was good.

When I first moved to the area, I made the mistake of hitting the hole on opening day right below the bridge on the main stem, immediately before the DH area. I think I counted 100 people fishing.

Since then, I have found much greener pastures.
