Was that in the lochs while wind drifting on a blue pontoon with a 6wt or in the waste treatment hole at the end trailer?

Nice fish btw!

Indeed - some magnificent fish!

Nightstalker's efforts really reveal that large trout are available in bigger waters and that they are very active and catchable during the coldest periods of the year.
Makes me want to get out and explore some river sections I've long suspected were "trouty." :)
Good motivation.

Some of us have to work. Nice fishies though.

K2,

After you feed the beasts at home...fish can be caught 5:30pm--2:30am. The fish are just hanging around waiting for you!

Unable to get more than 2 hours sleep last night for some reason. I'm pretty sure I won't make it much past 6:30 this evening. I'll dream about catching fish instead.

I could meet you over at the Gate of Hershey park...since that is closer to your work...I will get a can of cream corn.

Try sleep meds downed with alcohol work for me!

beautiful fish, well played.

interesting that the fish in the 4th pic has such a small head compared to the others - female vs males, or stockie vs wilds ?

you can certainly catch em up Mr Stalker, it makes me wonder about whats lurking at night in some of the holes on monocacy and saucon creeks...

cool bones !

Man,

you might give Ronnie the trout-pro a run for his money and it appears you actually catch them.

geebee,

You are correct that night fishing or even winter fishing should be tried. Worth it.

It will be a long time until that evening/night's fish will be bettered...if ever.

They were some awesome fish. 21 up to just under 24...based on guess compared to net. Heavy and well fed.

Amazingly, no where near the letort. I know that is hard to believe...more than a half hour drive from carlisle. And some sections of streams are completely covered in ice...which makes casting a challenge.

I am sorry to spot burn William's Grove Trailer Park...it is private property, complete with skull and cross-bones warning signs, chained guard dogs, tiki lights...but is was worth the risk. Take night-vision with you. Best spots are way inside the trailer area...in the kiddy boat ride section...look for the plunge pools adjacent to the cement canal walls. (hint...think under cut)

Just get out and fish...maybe you can exposé some of your very own fish porn too (ooops can I say fish porn?)

Disclaimer:
Fish may or may not be from the Letort or any other stream mentioned (depends if you "Believe In The Magic Hocus-Pocus Migration Voodoo Thang"...but that would mean they had to actually leave the prized letort and swim into the Susquehanna and swim many miles to get to the super secret streams mentioned, and go over dams and get past gauntlets of bait fishermen determined to use them for flathead bait). Fish may have been harmed during the act of being caught. For that I'm very sorry. It will not happen again.
