Blue Dun

Tail - Dun
Body - Gray dubbing
Hackle - Dun
Wing - Slate duck or goose quill segments

Amateur Tyers Fly Dictionary - J E Willmarth

Very cool looking. What pattern, size, materials did you use?
It’s been awhile since I tied it, but I believe it was barred wood duck flank feather fibers for the tail, stripped brown hackle quill for the body, CDC for the wing, and medium dun hackle. The hook is probably a Tiemco 100 size #14.

That will fish just fine. The fish don't eat on artistic merit. If they're hungry, they'll eat.
