I just tried to put some bright colors to a streamer, using brown trout colors as a basis. Bottom line is it didn't work. But on both sides of me a royal coachman streamer did as well as a pink spinner.

I am however absolutely sure this will produce. I just have to market it to the trouts better. LOL.

You could call a Mugwump.

That's a good name.

Last May I was fishing at State College with some good friends. When we got up Saturday morning it was raining pretty hard. We ended up fishing Spring Creek in the rain. About mid day we had an unbelievable Sulfur hatch. It was raining so hard the bugs could not get out of the water. There were hundreds of drowned duns floating down stream. So many fish were rising the steam looked like it was boiling. We all had dry fly action from then until dark. This fly was inspired by that day. A drowned sulfur dun. An epic day on Spring.

Wow, that is a fishy looking fly! I have had the same experience on Spring Creek twice.

Thanks Allan and John.

John, lets hope for some days like that this year!

Mike...that looks like that kinky Z-lon shuck again.
I got something similar in Lancaster in a variety pack...used it on some Wunder bugs.
