What am I looking at?

These tiny things were all over the place.
I should know what it is but I can’t place it.
It had 6 legs, and a fanned tale with three distinct lines. It was about the size of a size 18 hook

Sorry guys, I should have just done my research! It seems like it’s a mayfly nymph, just a thinner species then the normal ones I’m used to!

Remember, like all other animals, they start small and grow. If it's a long time from it's emergence time, it may be considerably smaller now than it will be in however many months.
