West Branch Crum Creek

Just wondering if any delco/ chester county guys were willing to share any of there knowledge about the west branch of crum creek? Been reading information online about it but nothing beats first hand information...any info would be greatly appreciated.

The wild brown trout population has pretty much been extirpated by warm water temps. Oh, you might find one or two if you are lucky, but I would advise fishing Crum rather than its West Branch. Wild trout in Crum are worth fishing over from about the confluence of the W Br downstream to the reservoir. Getting access may be your biggest challenge.

I have driven up and down Crum Ck and could never find legitimate access for any of the better looking water / long stretches that would be worth parking it up for. That said, I have never knocked on any doors to ask for access. Good luck if you try.
