I got a great deal on one recently but not sure to sell it on ebay or fish it. I am building a lite 4wt and it would really tie in nice but I feel guilty fishing such an expensive piece. Should I keep it? Anyone have any experience with ULA's? If so how did it fish?

ULA's are light and have a very nice drag.........no shame in using....granted, you can catch just as many trout on a fly reel that has SNOOPY on it as you would the Lamson ULA........but the lamson is nice piece of equipment........match it with a nice rod....and have an outfit that you could pass on down the family tree...........

One should fish with gear that makes him or her feel comfortable and confident.........I mostly use Fly Logic gear..........but I do own 2 Lamson Force reels.........but I did get a pretty good deal on the Lamsons...............................
