waterproof/underwater camera

+1 nikon aw100

I had the chance to use a fujifilm xp on penns and got some decent shots but nothing to write home about.

I had a chance to use the nikon aw100 and was impressed.

I'll post some shots front the fuji if I get the time.
 
Underwater point and shoot cameras have pretty limited lens quality. For still photos, I think you are better off to go with a trusted point and shoot camera, and then get a housing for it. There are a surprising number of waterproof housings out there for specific cameras.


For video, the GoPro is the obvious choice. Very durable and professional video quality...not to mention a gazillion different mount options. The only negative about the GoPro is no zoom. It's fish-eye wide angle, which looks cool. But no telephoto ability.
 
i have a tough and love it, its a must. the underwater pics are good.

i lost too many cameras in h2o
