Waderless bushwhacking

Is anyone familiar with LL Bean Cresta hiking pants?

It says 95% nylon, so it should be quick drying.

How do pants like these compare to the typical fishing pants?

Is the fabric thicker?

Nettles sting right through the typical fishing pants. But do not sting through blue jeans.

If these hiking pants have a thicker fabric than the usual fishing pants, they might be resistant to nettles.

I have several pairs of Kuhl Radikl pants that are very lightweight and pretty abrasion resistant. While I have worn them while hiking for brookies, I wear them all the time during my spring, summer, and fall fungi foraging hikes which cover the same sorts of terrain and vegetation. They aren’t absolutely proof against stickers, but pretty close for most stuff unless you’re planning on pushing straight through green briar thickets. They also dry very quickly. I’ve picked them up through REI but I’m sure you can find them other places too
