Vince Cummings Custom Rods

I have recently purchased a collection of vintage rods, reels, and tackle. Apart from the bamboo rods, what really caught my attention was a Vince Cummings rod. This is a one piece rod (which i have never seen before) with all the markings and original sleeve and tube. I know that they were built in Upstate New York, but i don't know much about these rods. Is there anyone out there that may be able to tell me more about this find?

if it's a cummings glass rod, you have something special. his rods are right up there with fernando claudio and russ peak, the big three so to speak. he also made rods out of bamboo, graphite and boron.
head over to the fiberglass board, introduce yourself, and ask those boys what they know about it.

edit, I snooped around my little library, only thing I could find was that he made a one piece glass rod, 6' long called "the elf". I'd say it's a 3 or 4 wt. the guys over on the glass board have much more experience with these rods.
